Meridian Digital started in 2012 as a two-person studio making catalogue sites for Korean exporters. Fourteen years later we still do that — plus the hosting and the security that keeps them up.
We design, build and host websites for companies that sell across borders. Most of our clients are manufacturers, trading houses and distributors whose buyers are in Japan, Korea or Southeast Asia and who need a site that works at 2 a.m. in a timezone nobody in the office is awake for.
The work is deliberately unglamorous: structured product data, specification tables, certifications, an RFQ form that lands in the right inbox, and a hosting setup that does not fall over during a trade fair. We are not a branding agency and we do not do campaigns.
Since 2020 we have also run the infrastructure: nineteen hosting locations, our own CDN configuration, a WAF and a quarterly penetration test for every security client. That happened because too many of our builds were being hosted badly somewhere else.
Every project starts with a written scope and a named engineer. Support is answered by a person who knows your site, not a tier-one script: median first response over the last twelve months was three hours fifty minutes.
We publish incidents on the status page with root causes, and resolved entries are never deleted. If hosting falls below the target, credits are applied automatically on the next invoice.

First client: a Busan parts manufacturer who needed a Japanese-language product catalogue and could not get one from their agency.
Dealer pricing and quote workflows became the second product, after three clients asked for the same thing in one quarter.
Moved clients off shared hosting onto our own hosting platform in Seoul and Tokyo. The first SLA was written that year.
Managed WAF and quarterly penetration testing for every hosting client, run by the same engineers who build the sites.
Four of the eleven. The rest are behind the deploys, which is the point.
Founder & technical director
Started the studio in 2012 building catalogue sites for Korean exporters. Still reviews every deploy and still answers the night phone.
Head of engineering
Runs the hosting platform and the security practice. Previously built delivery infrastructure for a CDN you have heard of.
Design lead
Turns spec tables and certifications into pages a buyer in Osaka will actually read. Allergic to stock photography.
Client & compliance
Contracts, data processing agreements, invoicing and the abuse register. The reason we can tell a regulator exactly who we host.
We will send three case studies in your industry, with the numbers behind them.
